The educational experience available in the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Mathematical & Computer Science Department offers unparalleled student experience. Our undergraduate program prepares students graduate studies in Computer Science and interdisciplinary fields such as cloud computing, data analytics, and cybersecurity.

The Mathematics & Computer Science (MCS) Unit at UAPB provides this unique opportunity for all Mathematics & Computer Science majors and the student body as a whole
Objectives
1. To support other departments requiring students to develop a certain level of mathematical, scientific, and technological maturity
2. To provide all students with the opportunity to acquire sufficient basic skills for daily living
3. To develop mathematical, scientific, and technological concepts required for certification and successful teaching
4.To provide those experiences that will facilitate successful graduate study and enhance job opportunities in the marketplace
